ÆON Credit Service (Philippines) Inc. (‘Company’ or ‘ÆON Credit’) has been established in the Philippines on February 2013 as a financing company, initially offering installment loans for the purchase of consumer products (like home appliances, furniture, and electronic products) to the unbanked population of the Philippines or those who have very limited access to financial services. ÆON Credit believes in empowering the customers by providing appropriate financial services to improve their lives.
Consistent with its mission to offer a wide range of consumer financial services, as well as to provide a means of livelihood to the Filipino people, ÆON Credit launched other products such as the Personal Loan, Tricycle Loan, and the Vehicle Loan.
ÆON Credit is a subsidiary of AFS Corporation Co., Ltd. (AFSC), a bank holding company under the umbrella of ÆON Bank and wholly owned by ÆON Financial Service Co., Ltd. (AFS), which is listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The core business of AFS is the issuance of credit cards and prepaid cards. It has over 35 million credit card holders in Japan and overseas and 44 million prepaid card holders in Japan.
