Work details

An individual with a passion for understanding customers and prospective customers’ needs, a critical-thinker, and one that is creative in providing solutions. You will work closely with the Sales team to provide technical presales support to sales engagement.

The main responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Provide pre-sales support and technical expertise to Open iT Sales Organization and Partners
Scope technical solutions and align product to customers’ business by interpreting customer requirements.
Help with existing and new customers understand features and benefits of Open iT solutions through consultations, product demonstrations, onboarding and training.
Communicate product requirements, setup, and statuses.
Assisting with RFI or RFP delivered by a prospect
Represent Open iT at events such as conferences, webinars, speaking engagements, etc.

Required Qualifications:

Fluent in English and Japanese
Excellent written and verbal communication, and client-facing skills
Strong time management and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated technical skills (e.g software proficiency, technical writing, programming, data analysis, etc.)
Ability to assimilate new information, understand highly technical concepts, and learn new technologies quickly
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a deadline driven environment yet providing accurate solutions
Ability to work effectively both independently as well as within a team

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in IT related field
Experience with customer-facing job or position
B2B work experience
